Glenn Kaufman, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Glenn Kaufman is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.   He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.   Dr. Kaufman received his undergraduate B.A. degree from Colgate University in 1977.  He spent one year of research at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.   He then attended medical school at the Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School where he graduated with honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical honor society in 1982.  

 He completed his four year residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital where he served as Chief Resident in 1986.  Dr. Kaufman has been in private practice in the Great Neck/Manhasset community for over thirty years.

Dr. Kaufman has special interests in routine and high risk obstetrics as well as operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.  His expertise also involves abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain and recurrent miscarriage.   He was one of the original physicians involved with introducing advanced Gynecological Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic surgical procedures to North Shore University Hospital.  He is actively involved in the training of medical students and resident physicians at the North Shore/LIJ Northwell Health System.
